I walked into my local liquor store craving George Killian's Irish Red. Unfortunately, they didn't have any in stock to my fond sadness. I picked up a six pack of Murphy's Premium Red Ale and it wasn't a bad choice.
Aside from the bitterness, it a beer that goes down smooth and it is light on your stomach. The beer goes well with a sandwich or nice heavy dinner because it does not destroy your taste palate.
